Happy Mother's Day!

We had another baptism this week!!! of a 26 year old golden investigator
named Maritza!!! The baptism went great although they had to baptize her a second time in the cold water because she swallowed water though her nose the first time and her arm didn't go in. But it was really great and both her parents came including her very Evangelical mom and also the family of her boyfriend came (her boyfriend who's a member baptized her). We had our first lesson with Maritza only a month and two weeks ago!! Shes truly golden.

We also had visitors! Hna Wheeler who's Hna Maman's last companion. And they brought Papa Johns!! We had to leave our keys in the tree next to our gate for them since we would be in our last lesson with Maritza when they would arrive-- but we came home and they had pizza and a member had also given us cake and it was a fun time.
We had an activity with the young men and women and we had them send a link of something from Mormon.org to a friend using their phones. Then we ate homemade pizza.
Also I got to call the fam yesterday!!! That was pretty awesome. It was really great to see all you guys!! I'm surprised I didn't cry. Hna Maman, Alcivar and Jara all did!  ha ha!
Also HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
I bought some new dresses and skirts for really cheap this morning so I'm pretty excited for that too! Yay clothes!
Also TODAY I HIT 6 MONTHS IN MY MISSION!!! WOOT ONE YEAR LEFT! That's really weird to think about. Gotta get working!!!

There's pics and ill attach another email for more pics too!
I think that's all that really happened this week.
Love you guys!!! Thank you so much for all your prayers! They help a lot!! Remember to study your scriptures and pray!

May is the best Month!!!

So we had cambios again and I get to stay in Las Misiones 2 with Hna Mamรกn! Which is awesome because we have some amazing investigatores with baptismal dates this cambio and also we will be able to celebrate our birthdays together!!!
May is the best month!!!๐Ÿ˜„

I don't have a lot to say this week because we did a lot of walking and this week.   People didn't seem to want to listen much but we still saw a lot of miracles and found some great new investigators!!
We have a young couple named Myra and Jasmany and they are super awesome. They were able to come see the baptismal service for the elders this Saturday which was really cool! President Rodriguez talked to them and said some cool stuff.
Myra couldn't come to church this Sunday because she was not feeling well (shes pregnant) but Jasmany came anyways which is really great!
And our other investigator Sara told us that she would like to serve a mission!!! So cool! It's super amazing to see people growing in their faith and trust in the Lord and watching them become happier with the light of Christ. I love being a missionary!!!!
Hna Sara our pincionesta went to the hospital this week which was scary but she has since returned home and we are eating lunch at her house again. I'm glad she is recovering. She is one of my favorite people here.
We changed to the other district in our zone so now we are in the same district as the other companionship of hermanas in our ward which is cool but like all the gringos are in this district and my companion was whining about going to the "distrito de los gringos" but Elder Lefgren is our district leader and he's really nice so I think it will be a good change.
We watched Moana again this last Monday but in Spanish! Which was really cool! I could actually understand a lot! and realized that they were saying things different than the Spanish subtitles were saying. idk why. But I learned the phrase "ni te metas" from it which was hilarious. The songs are actually really good in Spanish too.
OK that's all this week!
Bolivia is doing great ha ha I hope you all have a wonderful week and I challenge everyone to Count your Blessing this week! I promise there a more than you can fit on both hands!!
Love you all and thank you for your prayers and support!!

photos from the zoo and baptism and a giant couch we made out of the extra mattresses we had from when the other hermanas visited.

May 1

So this week we wanted to go to the zoo for our zone activity so we changed our p day to Wednesday but then Tuesday night they called half our zone into immigrations (which usually happen early Wednesay morning) so that kind of ruined our p day. But we still went to the zoo and saw some cool animals including llamas and jaguars (the Latinas were joking by asking the jaguar "how are you doing" because you pronounce jaguar How are almost in Spanish) and it was cool but REALLY COLD because we didn't really have rain coats and it poured the whole time. So were didn't see all the animals that were hiding and we were jumping over small lakes in the sidewalks. I gave up once my shoes were totally soaked through. We did see a monkey eating a banana though so that was pretty much worth it all. Then we went to the plaza and got food. I got Chinese food but it all tasted like soy sauce. That's it. Just soy sauce.
Then I got a cool t shirt and wallet from a Bolivian gift shop.
And then Thursday morning they called us in again for immigrations!
So I have my visa and I think the next step is I'm going to get my license to be here finally.
This week we had a lot of fun and did a lot of work and ate lunch with a young couple with baptismal dates which was fun. We ate Picamachu that was actually spicy which was great!

That's all I've really got time to write this week.
Me and Hna Mamรกn bought a ton of food that were excited to eat this week so there's that too. Including ravioli!!! Yassssss.
Also, we made a goal to speak English in the house at nighttime for her to practice but its really hard because she does not like to learn English unlike a lot of the Latinas! haha.

Alright love you all! Don't forget to study the scriptures and pray often! I hope this week goes amazingly for everyone and thank you always for your thoughts and prayers!!
