Musings on Mormon and Moroni

As I have read the Book of Mormon multiple times, I have gotten to see Mormon's narrative more clearly and thought about how and why he chose which stories and which things to include. It has helped me to know him a little better. And Moroni is  little bit of an incredible mystery too. They tell us all about the other people, but we have to learn about them by what they chose to tell us about others. Like Moroni choosing to add Mormon's two talks in Moroni 7 and 8, that Moroni decided to add after he had finished the record several times. Moroni 7 is one of my favorites, so I am grateful to him for including it.

What Interesting Things You Find in a Bolivian Mercado

Well I had a very interesting week, but not about many things I can write about. I learned a lot this week that's for sure. Mostly I learned that the real teacher isn't us, isn't me, its the Spirit. And its impossible to teach without the Spirit. Lots of miracles this week that I'm very grateful for and I know that God always answers prayers and is always helping and blessing.

So where we normally do shopping is in the market. Its like a giant

farmers market that's always open because that's more normal here than a supermarket. Its where people sell there fruits veggies other food and also a seccion where people sell clothing and a TON is used and imported American clothes. Those are pictures of a sweater from my freshman year High School football team from Mission Viejo High School! California! That was right there in Santa Cruz Bolivia mercado! I thought it was pretty impossible and hilarious!

No Transfer For This Cambio!

We had transfers today but both me and hna Maman are staying in our area for ANOTHER cambio!! I'm gonna have almost half of my mission in my first area ha ha. But that's awesome because we've got a lot of great plans and investigators this cambio and I think were going to have a ton of success.

OK! So all y'all are asking for an update and I don't have a lot of time but here are the points of this week:

MY 21 BIRTHDAYYYY!!

So obiviously y'all wanna hear about that well, we had a conference all morning and that was very motivating and I learned aloooottttt and we ate a LOTT of food! We had like 6 meals from different people and I got a lot of sweet gifts and card from members, conversos and investigators.  It was really fun and I'm really happy I got to spend my birthday in LAS Misiones!

MIRACLES!

Faith without works is dead. We made goals every day to find more new people this week and God helped us so much because almost every day we achieved our goal!
And on Sunday we found 11 nuevos!!!!! That made it so we found 24 nuevos when our original goal was 16!!!!! That's crazy!!!!!!!!!! We couldn't believe it! And they are all such good people and among them 2 families!!! I'm excited to teach them!!

7 to 10

We had a change to our schedule and now we wake up at 7 am and return to the house at 930 r 10. Crazy! But I like it a lot more. Also, transfers are on Mondays now which is good but means I have two less days int his cambio which makes me sad!
